What is a Drawing Walk?

Drawing forces us to sharpen our eyes and look closer. With pen and paper in our hands we discover new details of the city.

A Drawing Walk is not a classical drawing workshop. We won’t try to depict any historical monuments in a realistic drawing. We will sketch.

Along with stories about the neighbourhood, the walks are filled with drawing exercises, often quick and playful, and your personal touch on the drawing is what we are looking for.

We don’t aim to make drawings that look like the city. We draw to look at the city.

Whether you haven't been drawing since your childhood, or your sketchbook is one of your essential belongings, I warmly welcome you. I will share my tips and tricks, and guide you through the exercises - and the neighbourhood.
